wood Bowl in Spalted maple

This beautiful wood bowl was turned from a very old tree on the grounds of a very old church in Goshen, New York. After the tree died it remained standing for several years and the start of decay has created the striking colorations or spalting.

This maple wood bowl measures 4-1/2" in diameter by 4-1/2' tall.
