Tom recently installed custom baseboard heater covers throughout my home. My home was built in 1989 so there are a plethora of heaters running throughout the house and the custom covers that Tom created are absolutely beautiful and elevate the interior of the home to a new level! The precision and craftmanship are top notch and so glad I got to work with Sunrise woodwork!

The four Christmas trees that I ordered are beautifully made and arrived well packed and in a timely manner. I can't wait to give them as gifts this Christmas. Such quality workmanship!!

I ordered a simple baseboard radiator cover to dress-up a bathroom. Sheet metal radiator covers don't blend into the woodwork. They shout mediocrity. WIth Sunrise the radiator cover becomes the woodwork. Beautiful wordwork. The workmanship and finish (white satin) is absolutely perfect. I would recommend Tom to anyone wishing to increase the elegance of their surroundings.

Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with and his craftsmanship is excellent. He built a baseboard cover for us in a dining room that we added wainscotting to and it looks fantastic. We have now decided to use his covers on all of our baseboards because of how nice they look. We have also reached out to Tom to do other woodworking projects for our home and find him fair and reasonable on prices and great to work with.

Tom is awesome! He kept me up to date on the work he was doing, provided accurate estimates, and great sample pictures. I was looking for a printer desk with pretty odd dimensions and Tom got the job done! We are absolutely happy with the fished product!

I was looking for a small cabinet to store small tools and supplies for making oboe and bassoon reeds, and I didn't want a plastic or metal tool cabinet, it had to be furniture. When I saw this 2 drawer cabinet in an internet search, I knew it was close to what I needed, but it was a bit short. I contacted Tom about a custom version of this cabinet with one deeper drawer. He made me a gorgeous cabinet to my specifications. It's perfect for my purposes, it looks great and it arrived less than a month after I ordered it. Pretty good for a custom order, I'd say!

The mahogany desktop monitor stand with drawer was *exactly* what I've been looking for. I like that there's an open cubby underneath the drawer, just the right height to store a ream of printer paper, and neatly tuck away my current work in progress. There's ample room in the drawer to store plenty of office supplies. It's beautifully crafted and very sturdy; I'm pretty sure this will be in the family for several generations! It was very carefully packed, and arrived in perfect condition. One thing I wanted to do was to put some felt bumpers on the bottom, where it would rest on my lovely wooden desk, so it wouldn't scratch. When I flipped it over to do that, I found that this had already been considered; both "feet" already had bumpers in place!
The design is simple yet elegant, and would fit in with any decor. Thank you so much for creating such beautiful and functional pieces.

Tom made us a beautiful wood cover for our baseboard heaters. It makes a world of difference in our apartment. I came across sunrisewoodwork on Etsy when I was looking for a printer stand. There are a few commercially available ones, none came even close in comparison to what Tom offered. I navigated to his website to see additional woods/colors and decided to order from there. I liked that I could choose a size, and a wood/color – real wood – not a composite or plastic, and that it was made by a craftsman here in the US. As for shipping, it was packed so well it withstood the trip easily. All in all – the printer stand is a functional yet gorgeous piece -- This purchase/shipping experience was excellent!

I asked Tom to make for me two customized monitor stands.
Tom sent me a couple of drawings per my specifications and then called me to discuss them. We redesigned the stands and a week later they arrived at my place.
They are stunning!
The craftsmanship is functionality are self-evident. The quality of wood he used (mahogany) is superb.

Tom was able to customize the monitor stand by drilling holes to my specification, and deliver it very quickly. It looks great and covers all the wires that used to be on the desk. Very nice and sturdy product

Great Job Sunrise Woodworking! Tom did a great job on the refinishing our front door! Our door is a 17 year old mahogany door. It had faded and cracked over the years and I wanted to replace it but my wife loves that door! Sandra tried to refinish it her self with ,lets say , less than desirable results. So she found Tom. Tom came out, gave us a price to do the refinishing and said he would start the next week. He took off the door installed a plywood barrier and took the door to his shop. Tom sanded, glued, installed new veneer, fixed molding and even gave the inside of the frame a new coat of varnish! The door looks great ! Tom was a pleasure to work with,he did everything he said he would do and more! We highly recommend Tom and Sunrise Woodworking !! Thanks again Tom

Just received my beautiful cherry monitor stand. My father (now 80) learned furniture making from his father. He was an engineer by trade, but many of his hand crafted pieces grace my home including the sewing table and the walnut small parts cabinet in the picture attached. Your monitor stand provides exactly what I needed for a little extra storage space on the back of the table. I am very pleased with the beautiful workmanship.

Sunrise Custom Woodworking (Owner Tom Andreas) has completed two projects for us and we are extremely happy with the results. One time he built from scratch a cherry vanity over 10 feet long for our master bedroom bath. He matched a picture we had from Houzz.com. Another time he built a large center cabinet to match and complete a series of existing cabinets and shelves in our family room. Both projects turned out outstanding, were complete in the time he said they would be, and were priced reasonably. We have recommended Tom to several friends and business associates and expect to use him more in the future.

Tom is a high quality craftsman with great integrity in the way he does business. He produced a beautiful three-drawer piece for me, but unfortunately the drawer depths were not deep enough. No questions asked, Tom remade the piece to the right specifications and the end product is perfect and beautiful. My little kitchen is where everything in the house begins. Its the first place the mail lands, so there’s always this messy little pile of papers that lives there until I can move it on to the office for processing. I needed something to help manage it, but the thought of typical wire/metal sorters in the kitchen made me cringe. I ordered this one in clear maple, and it is a perfect match for my cabinets and table – and so gorgeous its become a bit of a conversation piece. My kitchen has aqua floors and counters, natural hard maple cabinetry, and lots of sunlight. The little maple sorter is right at home, and looks like it was made for the space.
